The Globe has been a busy inn for many centuries and is still popular with tourists, business travellers and locals today. It has been privately owned and managed by the Price family since 1978 and continues to offer friendly service to all.
Topsham was granted a Town Charter in 1300 by Edward I and its Estuary Port became an essential trading port for the city of Exeter. It's fascinating history is well displayed in the Topsham museum, which is open from May to October and is free. www.topsham.org/museum
