Glacier Guides, Inc Jimmie C. Rosenbruch - Alaska Master Guides & Outfitters
Description
Jimmie C. Rosenbruch began his Alaskan guiding just after Statehood. The family operation of Glacier Guides was incorporated in 1974. Since then, we have carried on the tradition of sharing this unique place with those who hunt, fish and explore with us. Truly the Last Frontier, those who venture into this magnificent land often feel as those first early explorers must have felt exploring an uncharted, pristine landscape untouched since its creation. No place on the Planet is like Southeast Alaska, and we would love to share it with you!
Jimmie C. Rosenbruch, president and founder of Glacier Guides, Inc., holds Alaska Master Guide License #61, a 200-ton U.S. Coast Guard Operators' License, and a Seaplane Pilot License. In recognition of Jimmie's worldwide hunting and wildlife conservation contribution, he received the prestigious Weatherby Award in 2006. He was the recipient of the 2005 SCI International Hunting Award and in 2001 received the SCI Professional Hunter of the Year Award. Jim is the founder of the Rosenbruch World Wildlife Heritage Museum, located in St, George, Utah.
MaryAnn Rosenbruch, bride of over four decades to Jimmie C. Rosenbruch, was one of the first women to receive her Registered Guide License #772 in Alaska and maintains a 100-ton U.S. Coast Guard Operators' License. A true outdoors woman, MaryAnn has taken many exceptional trophies herself. She is currently chief hostess aboard the Alaskan Grandeur, and still guides occasionally.
