Girl Scouts, Connecticut Trails Council has a lot to offer the girls in our service area. As a Girl Scout you can make new friends, experiment with math and science, play sports and games, do arts and crafts, travel, go to summer camp, sing songs, earn badges, attend workshops, go camping with friends, go on field trips, decide what you want to do, and learn how to help others.

Most girls belong to troops that have volunteer leaders. Others belong to special interest groups (like our Travel Troop or our Daughters of the Four Winds Indian Lore Troop) or have individual membership and participate in special events when they have time. Each member pays a yearly membership fee of $10.00 to GSUSA to belong to the organization and receives a membership pin. Each troop or group raises its own funds for the fun events they plan. That's where the Girl Scout Cookies play a major role.
