Hi. My name is Alana. I hope you're enjoying my page. It's just something I put together because I deleted all my other web sites, and suddenly felt uneasy about not existing on the internet anymore. The domain, girlalive.com, is my own personal domain. It is named after my favorite book, "Manalive" by G.K. Chesterton.
In case you care who I am, I'm a 29-year-old data entry specialist (aka "number-typing whore"). I'm not planning to type numbers for the rest of my life. I have a degree in history, but that is not useful because no one wants to pay me to do research about dead leaders of the reformation. I went to film school for a little while and learned that I am not good at making documentaries. There are some short films I plan to make, but so far they are just inside my head, so other people cannot enjoy them. (And please do not cut my head open looking for them - it does not work that way!)
My arms have gone numb from my data-entry job, so I am looking for something else to do to pay my rent until I become the greatest director who ever lived. I still do not know what I should do for a job, but I am thinking about getting trained as a phlebotomist because I like wearing rubber gloves and causing pain. In the meantime, consider giving me some money so that I can afford to pay for web hosting.
