The Gillespie County Fair, now 118 years old, was founded in 1881. Annual fairs have been held with the exception of five years when it was not possible due to WW I and WWII. The Fair Association is governed by a volunteer board of directors who donate in excess of 15,000 hours a year to the organization.
The Gillespie County Fair & Festivals Association, Inc. presents fairs and festivals to the community and develops programs that encourage, instruct and promote the education of the youth of Gillespie County – with emphasis on agriculture.
The GCFFA invites you to join them in their efforts supporting the youth of Gillespie County. GCFFA has created one of the most dynamic programs in the area granting scholarships to graduating seniors in the county on an annual basis. Donations to the Scholarship Fund are tax deductible
