- Senator Jud Gilbert is in his first term as the 25th District state Senator. The 25th District is comprised of both St. Clair and Lapeer counties. Jud is the chairman of the Senate Committee on Transportation, and is the vice-chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism. He also serves on the Economic Development, Small Business and Regulatory Reform Committee as well as the Senior Citizens and Veterans Affairs Committee.
