- The Giant Panda Trust was set up to raise money for Conservation Research to prevent the Giant Panda from becoming extinct. It supports the Chengdu Research Base in Sichuan Province, South West China and Professor Pan Wenshi, Director of Conservation Research at Beijing University. We have connections with the World Wildlife Fund for Conservation and also San Diego Zoo's Giant Panda Research Station in America.
