In late 1996 my husband and I moved home to Natchez, Mississippi. Knowing that I love horses, my husband asked me if I would like to get a couple to ride. A friend of mine called and said she had located an Arabian mare, Helena del Mar. I fell in love with her eyes from a photo and bought her shortly thereafter. She was Spanish Arabian. I called the Registry to get more information on the Spanish bloodlines, and they gave me the names of several Spanish breeders to contact.
