- The Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was founded in 1984 by a group of dedicated leaders as they realized the enormous potential of the US Hispanic business community and the need for a local organization to represent their interests and fulfill their needs through the public and private sector. This small group held the Chamber together during its infancy and laid the foundation for subsequent leaders of the Hispanic community to carry on the endeavor of bringing the issues and concerns of the growing numbers of Hispanic entrepreneurs to the forefront of Georgia's economic agenda.
