- GGR Communications was founded in 1994 by a group of individuals coming from a variety of backgrounds within the communications arena. They brought with them experience from such companies as GEC-Marconi, British Telecom, Motorola and Dynatech. They shared a vision that with more companies deciding to concentrate on the LAN/IP sector that there was a gap in the market place.There was a need to support those companies with a large investment in their existing technologies, such as Packet Switching, who needed to migrate their systems to the current and future technologies. These companies needed the engineering knowledge to migrate and install new systems.
