The first truly interactive game built using Google Earth and its internal browser, or an external browser of your choice.
The game itself is fairly simple, changes are always happening to make it better, and it should provide some fun entertainment for you or to your teenage children. It is recommended that a player should be 13 years old or older.
This game can be played on any windows, linux or mac computer which can run Google Earth.
Languages
English
Although the game is played in english, there is a section in the forum for other languages. This is where non english speaking players, or players who have broken english, can ask for support and help from other players in their native tongue.
Getting Started
Before you even begin to play the game, the first thing you should do is sign up to the forums, and read them, there are sections for help and problems, to suggestions, to requesting a new city be added into the game, and a whole heap of information regarding politics in the game.
Once you have read the forum, and believe that you have enough knowledge of how to start yourself off, then head to http://www.gewar.net/war/ to begin the game. Once you reach the page, it will ask you to download a file and place your homebase somewhere on the globe in Google Earth.
Homebase
When you place your homebase, It is important to place it on land, not in the sea, and do not place it in the south or north pole. If you place it where you should not have, admin or moderators may delete it or remove it at any given time. This is because having your home in the sea or on either pole is not realistic.
Money
The currency used in GEWar is Geo's. The symbol being 
When a user first starts playing, they begin with 50 Geos, 20 Jewels and 3 resources.
