Dov and Ora Leshchinsky founded ADAMA Engineering, Inc. in 1989. They are also the two principals in ADAMA. Ben Adam Leshchinsky contributes to the web development and marketing aspects of ADAMA. Additional expertise is acquired by ADAMA as needed.
Dov Leshchinsky: Holds B.Sc. degree in civil engineering, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. in geotechnical engineering. He has over 25 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering. As a consultant, Dov has been involved in major geotechnical projects in the US. He has over 30 years of experience with computer programming and numerical methods. Since 1982 he has served as a professor of geotechnical engineering at the University of Delaware. He has published over 100 refereed papers, many with results of numerical analysis leading towards advances in design methods. His geotechnical expertise relates to slope stability, reinforced soil, ground modification, and foundation engineering. He teaches short courses (in the framework of continuing education) on MSE structures, design of slopes and embankments, and shallow foundations. His main contribution to ADAMA’s software relates to the development of design procedures and their associated numerical concepts, and to the user-friendly structure of the computer programs.
Ora Leshchinsky: Holds B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and a Master of Architecture degree. Ora is a registered professional engineer (PE) in the State of Delaware and has over 30 years of experience as a practicing engineer and as a university instructor of basic courses in engineering. Ora’s graphical abilities, enhanced by her Architectural studies, combined with engineering practice and teaching makes her uniquely qualified to conceptualize and develop computer routines that make visualization of numerical results easier. Her main contribution to ADAMA’s software relates to the architecture and development of the code of its computer programs. Ora is the chief programmer of ADAMA Engineering.
