- Genie Computing Ltd was established in 2002 by two of the current Directors Ryan Francis & Daryl Hickman and is now South Wales’ Premier Family Computer Centre. After experiencing a high growth rate the business opened its first premises in Tonyrefail, near the Rhondda Valleys, in April 2004, and in April 2005 it acquired another unit increasing office and workshop space, along with being able to boost the sales area. After further realising the potential of its trusted business model, during July 2006 the company expanded to gain another retail premises, this time on the high street in nearby Pontypridd. And in November 2006 it opened another retail unit on Coedcae Lane, Pontyclun.
