Description
Our Senior Dining program serves as an outlet from depression, loneliness and isolation for our senior citizens. We provide them with fellowship, planned activities, and nutritious lunches. We furnish transportation for our participants to and from our facility in two fifteen-passenger vans. Many of these seniors also rely on us for transportation to the doctor, pharmacy, and grocery store.
Our Food Pantry and Clothing Closet programs assist our disadvantaged neighbors who find themselves in emergency situations with groceries and clothes. Many times they have to choose between buying groceries or paying rent or electric bills. Without our intervention, countless of these needy families will go hungry!
This undertaking can only be attained by the joint efforts of the business sector, the faith community, and individuals committed to fight hunger. This is accomplished by cash and non-cash donations and volunteering their time to our ministry.
