About Broken Mirror Dan, Jonah, and Ingrid are people for whom life has dealt severe blows. They are broken and cannot seem to get back into a meaningful world. Their relationships suffer in what appears to be a hopeless void until each experience a vacation in which the meaning of their suffering becomes apparent. Each compelled to the White Pine Inn, perched on the coast of Maine, their interactions as a group stall. Dan and Jonah both are in rudimentary relationships. Their wives suffer from the neglect and inability to discover meaning that forms the contextuality of everyday life. Ingrid, a German immigrant is drowning in her own soup of despair. However, there is something interesting about the Inn, and especially Seth, the Innkeeper. Like the conductor of an orchestra, he takes the grief of each guest and highlights it against the possibility of changing fate. Through deeper understanding discovered through this insight, will these guests find new hope and meaning in life? Or will they retreat back to the safety of their suffering?
