Gene Garrod has been repairing hydraulic cylinders for nearly 40 years. In the early 70s, Gene went to work for a hydraulic cylinder repair company and quickly saw the potential growth in this industry; however it required an upfront investment on equipment and skilled employees his boss at the time chose not to embrace. Soon he and his boss parted ways and Gene opened another shop that maintained an increased focused on the manufacturing side of the business.
