Game Daze opened its doors in 1994 at the Paradise Valley Mall, located in Phoenix, Az. The owners of Game Daze, a married couple from Chandler, Az, felt that there was a need in the Phoenix area to help people learn about and locate great games and puzzles that are not found in the mass chain stores.
The store was a hit, as Game Daze' employees focused on providing a higher level of customer service by teaching games and playing them with customers in the store. Game Daze made sure to listen to its customers in order to locate and stock the most sought out games, along with the biggest variety of board games, puzzles, chess sets, brainteasers, backgammon, mah jongg, and so much more.
In 1996, Game Daze opened a second location at the Superstition Springs Center in Mesa, Az. This was followed by an award-winning third location at the Scottsdale Fashion Square in Scottsdale, Az. More recently, Game Daze expanded throughout Arizona, offering it's unique product line and customer service to the Tucson Mall, Tucson's Park Place Mall, Arrowhead Mall and the Chandler Fashion Center.
