- Our signature crooked stick began life as a cherry sapling, only to be chopped down one day by Galen. It was used as a measuring instrument to space the vines we first planted when sufficient tape measures were not available. Consequently, parallel meandering rows were formed vine by vine in our hilltop vineyard. Every autumn, high quality fruit is hand harvested from these ‘crooked’ vines and fermented into our boutique wines.
