Description
It all started in 1991 when owner Jody Gable opened his first dealership, Gable Auto & Truck Center on Route 7, east of Cobleskill, New York. He acquired the Pontiac, Buick and GMC Truck franchises in July of 1991.
Jody added the Chrysler, Plymouth, Dodge and Jeep franchises in 1998, he then built a new Five Star facility across the street from his first dealership, this opened in December of 1998.
In November of 1999, Jody purchased the Chevrolet dealership in Middleburgh, NY from John Skinner, and changed the name to Gable Chevrolet.
