Description
The GROW Discussion website provides a Grow Program Forum for peer support. GROW is an organization that enables people with mental health issues to recover using the Grow Program, through structured meetings and mutual self help.
GROW started in Australia in 1957 and can now be found in many countries including the USA, Ireland, New Zealand, Canada, England, Philippines and Trinidad.
The Grow Forum is not owned, run or endorsed by GROW itself, and is open to anyone from any country - whether a member of GROW or not. The forum was created to not only increase awareness of GROW, but to provide information on how the Grow Program works. It also allows registered members to make posts any time of the day or night.
As the forum grows, more boards will be added to cover the many aspects of the program. Hopefully, some people who have been GROW members for a fair while in their country, will volunteer to be forum moderators - not only to keep the forum running smoothly, but to use their experience to answer posts in their own timezones.
For people who do not have GROW meetings in their country, the Grow Forum is the only way they will ever have access to the program. While not as effective as face-to-face meetings, it is certainly better than no access at all.
