We specialise in making bespoke furniture to measure and much time is devoted to designing pieces for individual customers. This service is free of charge and of course without obligation.
At the end of the day our success depends on our reputation - so care is taken at every stage to ensure that the furniture we make will stand the test of time and become antiques of the furure.
Furniture making at English Hardwood Furniture starts with the procuring of good quality hardwood trees. Much of the timber we use is large hedgerow material bought from tree surgeons, farmers, developers etc. Occasionaly we fell trees for our own use. Oak, Ash, Sycamore, Elm and Chestnut are the most commonly used English Hardwoods.
