My name is Dan Berkman and I started Jump Jump Music in the summer of 1990 as a neighborhood used record store. Soon thereafter we started putting out soul jazz catalogs. Today we have customers all over the world.
I bought my first record, The Chipmunk Song, in 1961. In 1984 I realized I had more records than I could listen to and started selling at the Seattle record shows. By 1990 I knew the only way to listen to all my records was to make it a full time job.
Nancy Hiss does Jump Jump's graphics. She has stuck by Jump Jump Music doing whatever needs to be done from the start.
