Func Industries was formed on 9/9/99 by a small group of professionals working within the PC gaming industry, spending most of their off work time playing games from all different genres. At that time growth in competitive gaming had created an unprecedented demand for mousing precision and, although mouse technology was advancing to accommodate this demand, a large void existed in mousing surface technology. It was to fill this void that the sUrface1030 concept was first introduced.
