Floan-Sanders, Inc. began business as Don Floan Consulting Engineer in 1956. The company first provided engineering services to East Grand Forks and Polk County and gradually expanded to serve numerous other communities, townships, and other clients in the surrounding area. In 1972, employee Gary Sanders, PE became a partner and the business name was officially changed to Floan-Sanders, Inc.
