About Fruited Plain Cooperative Society
Fruited Plain Cooperative Society is an independent cooperative serving residents of Champaign-Urbana, Illinois and surrounding communities. Fruited Plain is an Illinois nonprofit corporation owned and controlled by its members.
Fruited Plain's purpose is to provide its members with access to consumer goods, on a cooperative, not for profit basis. Our emphasis is on natural and organic foods, though we are open to adding other products and suppliers as our members become interested in them. We hope to become a cooperative store that will serve a significant portion of the Champaign-Urbana community. By joining us now, you can help create the momentum that we need to build a great resource for the community.
