- Pam Maneeratana is a 48- year old lady, originally from Bangkok, Thailand. At a young age, while in Middle School, she was very fortunate to have the opportunity to study Kae-Sa-Luk (The Art of Fruit and Vegetable Carving), under a teacher who was trained at the Royal Palace. Pam has been teaching this art form to the public and giving demonstrations to all interested groups for nearly 20 years in the United States, which she has adopted as her home since 1979. In the past, Pam Maneeratana has been received many honors: the United State flag flown at the Capitol of Florida on August 26, 1985, from Congressman Don Fuqua; she received an individual Artist Fellowship Award in 1989, from the Division of Cultural Affairs, Florida Department of State, and a Certificate of Appreciation from the Leon County School Board in 1987. She was also a speaker at the Annual Catering Expo 1989 in Las-Vegas, where she gave a demonstration.
