Frost & Wagner
The keyboarder Oliver Frost and the drummer Adrian Wagner have long been part of Berlin’s Reggae Scene. Both met in a Reggae band called „Growing tree“, a band which was later on joined by the Southafrican singer Vido Jelashe (Meitz, Noiseshaper). Since a couple of years Frost has been producing Electronic-Music, not only Reggae pieces but also German Pop together with the singer and songwriter Thilo Klingebiel.
Wagner still plays the drums for various bands in Berlin. In the mid 90s Frost and Joy Denalane played together in the Reggae Band „Culture Roots“. So it was only a question of time since Frost, Wagner and the guitarists Marcel Sorge and Hassan Elmalik had the brilliant idea to give their old friend Denalane`s version of the song „Torch of Freedom“ a brand new outfit.
