- It was summer - hot and humid - way back in 1979. I sat in my livingroom trying to decide what courses I was going to take in my first year of High School. Growing up in Abbotsford BC I was about to enter a large private school, Mennonite Educational Institute. As I looked over the list of electives, one of the choices was guitar. I had always wanted to play guitar, but never owned one. As I added the class to my list, I had no idea where it would take me and how much music would in fact influence me down the road.........
