- Frijpak Air Cargo is an Australian-based company with significant presence in Malaysia. The current FAC 9 electrically operated refrigerated air-cargo container has evolved from prototypes first developed in 1995 and 1996. Further product development by Advanced Refrigeration Pty Ltd proceeded in Australia. This development led Advanced Refrigeration to be certified by the Australian aviation authority, CASA, as an approved manufacturer of the FAC 9. Product testing has been achived with the support of air-cargo carriers in Australia and Malaysia. The Australian flight certification for the FAC 9 was granted in April 2001. Frijpak Air Cargo has an exclusive contract with the Advanced Refrigeration for the supply of FAC 9 containers.
