About The Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick
The Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick is a non profit organization dedicated to increasing the awareness of the cultural achievements of the Irish. We are located in New Bedford, Massachusetts.
The club is thriving and more community oriented than simply a social club. There is a membership restriction and a waiting list for admission. We annually sponsor $6,000 in scholarships and deliver those scholarships to various local students regardless of their heritage. We contribute generously to various local and regional causes, including significant sponsorship of the Cape Irish Children's Fund. We take pride in the fact that we're there for those who need us in the community.
Our charter is to increase awareness in the community of the cultural achievements of the Irish. Not only do we believe that we are recognizing past achievements, but we also believe that we are setting a standard for future generations to follow.
