Fresno Breast Surgeons

Description

Margaret Hadcock is a board certified general surgeon who has been practicing in Fresno since 1984. For the last 8 years has limited her practice to the care of patients with breast disease. She has developed and expanded services and support for breast cancer patients in the San Joaquin Valley. Frequent community lectures to patients, families, other health care providers and fellow physicians have helped her reach out to the Fresno community with her message. She is a founding member of the multidisciplinary conference that is held weekly to review patient care and foster progressive discussion of care. She has promoted development of lymphedema services provided by certified lymphedema therapists and has extended knowledge of practical prevention of lymphedema to medical colleagues. Breast conservation surgery is a planned option for most breast cancer patients in her care, and oncoplastic techniques are used. Simplifying the process of diagnosis, surgical treatment, and coordination of care with other breast cancer specialists is a hallmark of her office, along with communication to you and your physician.

Dr. Hadcock was born on the high plains in northern Montana, attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana, and medical school and surgical residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago. She is a member for the American Society of Breast Surgeons and maintains her practice with continual education. She is the proud wife of Bill Hadcock, a vascular surgeon, and mother of three children, who keep her teetering between young and old, but always humble.

We perform in office core biopsies and have an office ultrasound to aid in diagnosis and management of breast disease. We are committed to coordinating care with your primary care physician, and to arranging appropriate specialist consultations and referrals for support and complementary services.
