About Us
The Fremantle Volunteer Sea Rescue Group has been assisting the Western Australian public for over 30 years. FVRSG is a volunteer, not for profit organisation operated by those who willingly dedicate their time to attend vessels needing assistance. Group funding is made possible by corporate sponsorship, public donations and fundraising events. Limited funding is also provided by state government.
Fremantle Sea Rescue is recognized as a leading professional organisation, which has a long history and proud record of achievements. The autonomy and Espirit de Corp that is fostered by FVSRG is what makes us what we are.
We continually improve our standards through our own professionally conducted courses, and on the job training. Our volunteers are highly trained to ensure that they attain excellence in performing their duties and responsibilities under all conditions.
