FREE JUMPER CHARTERS is a light tackle approach to South Florida's multi-faceted fishing, targeting both inshore and offshore species .We cater to the needs of the fly caster, spin fisherman or conventional bait casting angler in line class rarely exceeding 15 pounds. Because we fish from an open center console craft, one to two anglers is ideal, though we can accommodate up to three anglers depending on what species we are pursuing and method of approach. For instance, we can deposit three fly casters on various grass flats or spoil islands in pursuit of sea trout and snook. But, to carry those same three fly casters off the beach in search of tarpon would be unfair to the other two anglers, given that only one angler would be able to cast at any given opportunity.
LICENSES - All licenses, bait and tackle are provided, though you are certainly welcome to bring your favorite "stick" and any artificials you feel confident using. A good pair of sun glasses and adequate protection from the sun are worth their weight in gold. Deck shoes or tennis shoes...please!
CATCH & RELEASE - Though we have been known to keep a couple dolphin or cobia filets, FREE JUMPER CHARTERS is primarily a catch and release operation, doing our best to protect what remains of our precious fisheries.
