Many web-sites providing similar services, often attempt to cover numerous countries, as a result these Freebie sites are not always suitable to the UK surfer and are often poorly structured, confusing to the reader and out of date.
Free In UK first went live on 22 February 2001, with the simple idea that any freebies found could be shared easily and quickly with family and friends. The site was hosted free of charge by my ISP, but as with all ISP's they limit space and also bandwidth (information flow between my site and surfers viewing my site) to all subscribers.
