Description

Jim Bachelor, whose tribal name is James Red Spirit Buffalo is a native born Alabamian. He lives and works in Alabama with his wife, Dee Dee. His Grandmother was 100% Cherokee and an elder. Although his parents denied his and their heritage, he has persevered in his inner links to the people and identifies with his heritage although he has had to discover most of it. His journey has included links to what was the true journey of his Nation, links to his tribal ancestors, the Iroquois. Through his adopted Brother, Lawrence Free Eagle, he has begun to rediscover links to the People and begun to fill the "hole in his soul". He is an Artist and crafter of true Native American reproduction art and designer of authentic Native American tribal items. He has had to overcome true poverty and to rediscover his true worth in his own eyes.
