- When I started making speaker cabinets I wanted a practice amp for my bedroom. Rather than buying something small, unattractive, and mediocre sounding, I decided to build a 1x10 cab to match a 40 watt head I already had. I liked the cab so much I started building larger cabs, more ideal for live settings. When I thought about creating a design for more than just the bedroom, I thought about drums.
