Joseph and Bianca Freck
Joseph and Bianca Freck met in mortuary school while training to be funeral directors and embalmers in the State of Ohio. After graduation Joe relocated to the Toledo area from his hometown of North Royalton, Ohio. Bianca grew up in Oregon, a suburb of Toledo, Ohio. They began their apprenticeships and received their licenses. After 16 years of combined service, an opportunity surfaced in the winter of 2001 when an old church property came available in Oregon. Joe and Bianca seen this property as ideal for a mortuary and began the tough process of creating their own business, a business now known as Freck Funeral Chapel.
As Licensed Directors, Joe and Bianca provide many types of services for all faiths and races. Their offerings to families include pre-planning services, traditional burial arrangements, and cremation options. They have created this funeral home as a way to fill a niche for families that need the care and compassion that only a funeral directors like Joe and Bianca can provide.
The quality of care at Freck Funeral Chapel begins with the building. The restoration of Divinity Lutheran Church and many of the architectural choices were made with the families we serve in mind. The decor is very homespun and comforting as a start. Immediately people find a presence of serenity when they first come through the door. The chapels are designed the same way... if you didn't know any better you would feel like you were in someone's house. The restrooms are extremely spacious and boast a real changing table for the littlest family members. The family lounge is complete with a full sized refrigerator for refreshments and party trays that visiting families are more than welcome to bring in. A television, coloring books/crayons, and several games for the children are thoughtfully added to a room that is furnished with big comfy couches that have provided more than one nap to weary family members.
