FRANKLIN RURAL ELECTRIC COOPERATIVE is an electrical distribution cooperative serving Franklin, the southern third of Cerro Gordo, and parts of Butler, Floyd, Hardin and Wright counties in Iowa.Corn Belt Power Cooperative in Humboldt is our generation and transmission cooperative. Owned and controlled by the people it serves, Franklin REC was established in 1936 and is located North of Hampton on Highway 65. Hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
