The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an integral member of the health care team. LPNs work under the direction of the registered nurse (RN), physician, or dentist in providing nursing care to clients. The Franklin County Practical Nursing Program, affiliated with Franklin County Career and Technology Center (FCCTC), is a one-year full time program. This program provides the theory and clinical learning experience for the graduate to prepare for the NCLEX-PN licensing exam.
