Description
FTCNC holds approximately six membership meetings each year (i.e., February, April, June, August, October and December) and quarterly meetings of its Board of Directors. Meetings are hosted by a Club member in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. FTCNC also hosts two popular and prestigious Specialty Shows each year, one in April and the other in September. FTCNC encourages an open exchange between its members—including those who own show dogs or family pets—as well as affiliate organizations to promote the breed and betterment of the organization.
FTCNC welcomes members from all walks of life, who are at least eighteen years of age, are enthusiastic about the breed, and are in good standing with the American Kennel Club. Though the Club’s primary purpose is to represent the members, breeders, and exhibitors in our immediate area, we’re proud to extend Affiliate Memberships to all other corners of the globe. FTCNC welcomes individuals having experience, or just a willingness to help, with any of the following: dog shows, fundraising, newsletter publishing, website publishing, the hosting of meetings, and with rescue.
• Individual Membership dues are $25 per year. Current members have access to FTCNC’s numerous resources, as well as our quarterly newsletter, “Foxtales”, which contains informational updates about such important topics as canine-health issues, show dates, upcoming events and meetings, as well as humorous anecdotes about our four-legged friends (and those who love them!). Participation and regular attendance are encouraged. It is an outstanding way to become more knowledgeable about the breed, grooming, showing, as well as pet ownership. Most of all, it’s fun!
