Description
Foxmount Farm is the name of my paternal grandfather’s 17th century family home and dairy farm in Waterford, Ireland. I am proud to carry the family farm name into the 21st century. From 1992 until 1999 Foxmount was a successful show jumping facility in New York. After initiating the Show Jumper Breeding Program in 1995 it became necessary to expand and Foxmount ultimately relocated to Middleburg, Virginia in 2000.
Our philosophy of horse caretaking is; the horse comes first. Our goals are to produce and train quality youngsters and offer the best field board situation in order that your horses will return to you ready to perform at their best. And finally, we are committed developing the sport of polo as we are host to the finest fields and players in the Virginia area.
The staff at Foxmount consists of professional horsemen with decades of experience managing, breeding, training and showing through grand prix levels. Using progressive training and handling techniques all of the horses at Foxmount are managed with an emphasis on patience and respect.
