FoxHunt Trailers not only sells horse trailers, but we service what we sell as well. We here at FoxHunt Trailers are horse people and know what horse people like and want. We have show horses as well as trail horses and we even have a palomino filly out of our mare. We have done just about everything with our horses that would require transport. That is why we needed a horse trailer. I remembered pulling trailers 30 years ago and I hated the way they swayed and the brakes locked up. I put this off as long as possible.
This is how it all started: I had horses for 20 or so years, but gave them up to raise my kids. In 1998 we bought a horse for our daughter who was 11 years old. She got into showing, but because we didn’t have a trailer we were very limited as to what shows we could go to. We had to hitch a ride with someone. I am sure you have gone through that too and I also know you know that it usually doesn’t work out for long. After doing this for a year and starting into another show season I was starting to think more and more about a trailer. The end came quick when we were all set to go to a show and at the last minute the people who were suppose to take us cancelled. We had spent all day Saturday getting the horse ready. I was disappointed, but my daughter was heart broken. I made a few calls and was lucky enough to find someone to help us for 50.00. The show was only about 15 minutes down the road. The whole family could enjoy this show including the grandparents. We went to the show and we really did great. First place prizes were horse things. There were no points or trophies just things, and ribbons for 2nd to 6th place. The whole moral to this story was that my daughter got to the show won lots of things, her grand parents got to see her in her element for the first time and the family had a great day. It was the best 50.00 I ever spent.
I could have gone to the tack shop and bought the shampoos, Chicago screws, conditioner, tail bag, bucket and a few other things for probably less then the 50.00, but what fun would that have been? It was then that I realized I had to get my own trailer.
