"Partners in Parenting recognizes the rights and needs of children and youth requiring alternate care by enabling and supporting care providers in developing a compassionate, safe and therapeutic family environment while being sensitive to our community's cultural and ethnic diversity".
Partners in Parenting believes in working with the placing agencies, other organizations, social workers, foster families, natural families and their children in order to provide the optimum level of care. Partners in Parenting also believes that the key to a successful placement is directly dependent on the successful matching of a foster child to a foster home which recognizes not only the skills and abilities of the foster parent but also religion, language, cultural and ethnic attributes of each.
Partners in Parenting's approach is based on commitment, skills, knowledge and a supportive and understanding team. Utilizing out-come based processes and tools, Partners in Parenting effectively identifies and works towards meeting the individual needs of children and youth in order that they may have a successful future.
