During the year of 1998, after analasing t he services offered by many travel agencies in the city of Fortaleza/Ceará who were supposed to offer good services thru internet, Demian and Delano noticed that an important market was being formed. Over all, after studying many data and researches from National Tourism Bureau - EMBRATUR, they concluded that most of the tourists who visited Fortaleza were independent travelers who were traveling by their own.
Then they started to give information about the city to those independent travelers, using a simple web site (in that time it wasn’t the FortalezaSite yet).
During this journey, all the experience given by Demian, in his Tourism Course at the University of Fortaleza, and also many works done to local hotels, added to Delano’s great experience in the administrative and planning fields, for more than 35 years, took both of them to found Fortaleza Site Tours , in the year of 2001. One modern travel agency, specialized to service by internet, and created to offer services to independent travelers and companies.
