- The Community Action Network is a sustained initiative of the greater Fort Dodge Iowa community that involves cooperative planning and collaborative action to help build a healthier, stronger and more vital community. the Community Action Network was started in October of 1996, through action taken by the Trinity Regional Hospital Board of Directors. The Board wanted to provide leadership and financial support for a comprehensive community initiative that would improve the health of our community. The Community Action Network defines health in broad, holistic terms, inclusive of factors that influence quality of life.
