My name is Melanie Rossi and “Once upon a time” I was a school teacher who loved to take pictures of my students and share those moments with their families. Then I became a mother of two and a teacher who (still) loved to take pictures. My goal is to capture the moments of discovery, joy or thoughtfulness in a comfortable, relaxed and fun location.
Have you ever watched a child discover something new with that intense, interested look on their face as they begin to explore? Haven't you wished that you could save that memory in a photograph? Nothing seems to make us happier than seeing a photo of someone we love that captures who they are and what they love to do.
I think in our hearts we all want to be a photographer and see things a little differently. At least, I do! I want to take photographs that open a fresh eye on everyday subjects. I have been "in training" for many years using the students in my classroom, my own children, family, friends, and pets as my subjects. I now wish to expand my field and record those moments for you and your family. I invite you to join me on my journey of learning and growth.
