Forestdale, Inc. is the only child welfare agency based in Queens and dedicated to serving the borough’s diverse population. Our main campus is in Forest Hills, the geographic heart of Queens, while our services extend strategically to the neighborhoods where they’re needed most, including Jamaica, Elmhurst and the Rockaways. Since 1854, Forestdale has served as a school for street children, an orphanage and most recently a center for foster care and adoption.
