Village of the Year 2009 The district round of 'Village of the Year 2009' was awarded to Eriswell. Accepting the award was Chairman of the Parish Council Pearl Brunning and Clerk Mary Crane. The village was complimented on its community volunteering work, dedication to managing their open spaces and the ongoing commitment to the re-furbishment of the children's play area.
