Description
Len Tashman is Professor Emeritus of Business Administration at the University of Vermont. For his excellence in teaching, UVM awarded him the Kroepsch-Maurice Award for Outstanding Teaching. He also received the MBA Association's recognition as Business Professor of the Year on four different occasions.
Len is the co-author of a textbook on statistical methods and has written articles in the International Journal of Forecasting, Journal of Forecasting, Journal of Business Forecasting and other journals. His research is recognized for extending our knowledge of automatic forecasting, regression modeling for forecasting, selection of exponential smoothing methods and assessment of forecasting accuracy.
Professor Tashman served on the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in the area of financial forecasting. He has taught forecasting workshops at the Institute for Professional Education since 1994.
