Growing up in a small town in southeastern Washington state during the 50's... the era many still refer to as "a simpler time..." has had its influence throughout the course of my life. Despite a quiet pull to stay, the constant push of destiny through people and situations and my own somewhat confused choices, stubbornly moved me into the 21st century.
I was the child that didn't even like to turn on a radio, much less want to learn how to use a computer. My artistic attitudes cared little for the world of technology. Eventually, I did find a more agreeable profession... working throughout the years with postpartum mothers, teaching them the art of breastfeeding and baby care... giving support and encouragement along the way.
As wonderful experiences accumulated, I also started to do more children's art... which ultimately led to the creation of my WhimsDecals. But, in time, it all seemed to want to go to the next level up! It wasn't until the high-speed Internet connected to my brain that I discovered the "virtual world"... more importantly, the virtual store!
